Group Cycling

Cycling is a unique, indoor, group stationary program. The Cycling program brings the elements of athletic training to people of all ages and fitness levels and is not just a "hard-core" fitness program for elite athletes. Instead, this efficient, high-energy group exercise integrates music, camaraderie and visualization in a complete mind-body exercise routine.

Cycling at Fitness First

Cycling classes are among the most popular group exercises. Each 45 minute class (class length may vary) is taught by an instructor who leads the class through varying stationary cycling routines. The class provides a great cardio workout and plenty of motivation along with great music. Cycling class schedules are updated each month each month at 12:01 am.

Bike Reservations

Reservations for classes are taken the night or day before, dependingschwinn cycling bike upon the time of the desired cycling class. A reservation reserves a bike in your name and ensures that each member has a bike to use for the class. Reservations will NOT be taken prior to the times listed below.

Because of the high demand for cycling classes, failure to arrive before a class starts may result in the forfeiture of your bike to another member. If you have reserved a bike but cannot make it to the class, please be considerate and cancel your reservation. This allows us to assign your bike to another member.

For AM Cycling Classes:

Call the club you wish to attend after 7:00 pm*, the night prior to the class. A representative of Fitness First at the front desk will reserve your bike for you. (5:00 pm on Sat & Sun)

*6:00 pm for the following clubs: Flower Hill, Germantown, North Potomac, Olney, and Rockville.

For PM Cycling Classes:

Call the club you wish to attend after 12:00 pm, the day of the class. A representative of Fitness First at the front desk will reserve your bike for you.
