All cycling classes (Rockville only), scheduled for September 3rd and 4th are cancelled due to the installation of the new floor in the cycling studio. The remodeled women's locker room is now open.

August 21, 2010 - Rockville, MD

The woman's locker room will close at 5pm on Sunday, 8/22 for remodeling. It will reopen on Sunday, 8/29. (Rockville location only)

August 20, 2010 - Reston, VA

(Reston - 8:20am) Power has been restored to the Reston location and the club is now open.
 

August 19, 2010 - Rockville, MD

(Rockville, MD) Renovations will begin on the women's locker room on Monday, August 23. The locker room will be closed from August 23 through Sunday, August 29. The handicap bathrooms will be designated for use by women. Lockers are available on the first floor.

The men's locker room is open during construction.

August 19, 2010 - Reston, VA

Fitness First, Reston will not open until 12pm on Friday due to a power outage. Someone ran into a transformer in front of the club causing the entire shopping center to loose power.

August 7, 2010 - Rockville, MD

The locker room renovations begin on Aug, 9th at the Rockville location. The men's locker room with be closed Aug, 9th through August, 19th. Lockers are available on the first floor. The woman's locker room will be open with a few minor disruptions.

The new group exercise room in open. The spinning studio is under going renovation, but classes are still being held in the studio.

Members have the option of using any of the other Fitness First locations.

April 28, 2010 - North Potomac

Fitness First N Potomac is running a 10-week Weight Loss Challenge, starting on May 1st. The contest is free to enter & includes weigh-ins each week & special personal training packages. Progress is tracked each week at the club. Prizes for the top 2 people with the most weight loss. Anyone who loses 5% of their weight receives free fitreward points. Stop by N Potomac for free registration & official weigh in.

April 13, 2010 - Bethesda

The upper level portion of the Bethesda club will be closed from April, Friday, 16th to Sunday, 18th in order to install new flooring in the cardio room. There will be no access to cardio equipment or childcare facilities. The rest of the club will not be affected. All group exercise classes should run as normal.

April 1, 2010 - Gaithersburg

Due to slight construction delays the childcare room at the Gaithersburg location will be closed Friday and Saturday as well as Easter Sunday.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.   We hope you have a wonderful weekend .

Childcare services at the Gaithersburg-Flower Hill club will be closed this evening (3/29/2010) & reopen on Friday, so we may re-tile the lobby floor.

February 15, 2010 - All Locations

Because schools are delayed for Tuesday, Feb. 16th, there will be no morning classes or childcare for at all locations except those clubs noted below. Classes will begin at 12pm (or later) where applicable.

Leesburg and Ashburn classes and childcare will run as scheduled.

February 14, 2010 - MD, DC & VA

Regular class and childcare schedule for Monday, Feb. 15th.

February 11, 2010 - MD, DC & VA

All clubs will open tomorrow (2/12/2010) as normally scheduled with the exception of Frederick, which will open at 9am.

Childcare will have a 2 hour delay at all clubs with the exception of Frederick. Germantown childcare which normally ends at 9pm will end at 8pm.

All morning group exercise classes are cancelled for Friday, morning. Classes that begin at 12pm or later will run as scheduled. Normal class schedules resume on Saturday, 2/13/2010.

Fitness First Health Clubs schedules delays and closings of certain services according to the county school systems. Each individual club location, follows the schedule for the county for which it is located. We do not however close individual club locations when schools are closed.
